Mischa Barton’s friends were worried she was suicidal, it has been claimed. Pals close to ‘The O.C.’ actress - who was sectioned on Wednesday (15.07.09) after being placed under a 5150 hold, which means she poses a danger to herself or others - were convinced she would try to commit suicide unless they forced her to get help.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: “She’s in very bad shape. She’s running out of money and can’t find love, so now she is looking for a good time to escape her misery. She is on a downward spiral. She is a mess. She is a suicidal, uninsurable mess.”

Under a 5150 hold order a person can only be held for up to 72 hours, but doctors can ask for an additional 14-day hold if they believe it is warranted.

The 23-year-old actress was taken to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation, with her publicist Craig Schneider recently confirming she is still at the hospital.

Mischa didn’t even attend the New York premiere of her new movie ‘Homecoming’ on Thursday, friends recently claimed she was on a “destructive path” of drug use, and think it will take her a long time to fully recover.

“She is a tortured and troubled person. You can survive a bad review, but when you don’t show up for the premiere of your new film, it’s not a good sign of where your career is heading.”

Well, I was wondering where Mischa was recently and I guess I know now! I’m sure the pressure of Hollywood is more than the average person can understand or handle, but I dont’ know if these stars could handle the pressures of life in the “Real World”! Hope she screws her head back on soon enough to save her career, if Britney did it she can, but then again Britney actually had a fan base to begin with!

Paris Jackson wanted to give her father something to remind him of her as he rests in peace. Michael Jackson’s grieving daughter wrapped a heart shaped necklace around his wrist as his body lay in an open coffin last Monday.

La Toya Jackson, who witnessed the heartbreaking act during the family’s private viewing said “Paris told me, ‘The heart is in two pieces. I want one half to go to daddy and I will wear the other half forever.’

“She carefully wrapped it around his wrist and said, ‘Daddy this is for you. On daddy, it will be blue because he is cold. On me, it’s purple. He’s so cold, he is so cold.”

Paris bought the necklace - which changes colour according to temperature - after Michael died of a suspected cardiac arrest last month and she wore it when she made her emotional tribute to him at his memorial service last Tuesday”

As well as the jewellery, Paris also got some coloured stones to decorate her dad’s body with.

This teared me up when I read it, I miss Michael, we all do, but no one more than his family (minus Joe).

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have been dating since November 2007 and now it’s a wrap. They called it quits the day before Jessica’s 29th birthday (ouch!)

Jessica had been planning a Barbie and Ken themed party, but took to her Twitter page to let us know “Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I love getting older!”

A source added she cancelled her party because of this, but she’s doing ok.

Well, I just hope she doesn’t resort to her hard partying ways like she did after dating Jhon Mayer - not a good look. I love Jessica, but maybe she just needs to focus on her career for a while.

Los Angeles has only received $17,000 of the 1.4 Million it cost to put on Michael Jackson’s memorial because the official donation website was completely flawed.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa says, “The city’s Information Technology Agency could not handle the high volume of traffic or adequately respond to receive contributions for several hours Tuesday afternoon … for at least 12 consecutive hours Tuesday evening … and periodically throughout Wednesday morning.”

So Villaraigosa is begging MJ fans to go back to the website and cough up a donation.

Oh please! How much money did they spend to take MJ to trial? Suck it up, I think the fans are better off donating to a worthy cause, not paying Antonio back!

Twenty-year-old Sahel Kazemi (pictured above) shot Steve McNair (pictured above) while he was sleeping on the sofa in his Nashville condo, before shooting herself in the head police said. Kazemi shot McNair in the head, then fired twice into his chest before shooting him again in the head.

Authorities said in the days leading up to the shooting, Kazemi told a friend her life was “messed up” and she wanted to end it. Kazemi also believed her relationship with McNair — a married father of four — was unraveling and that he was involved with another woman.

Here’s the story;

Kazemi met McNair at the Dave & Busters she worked, McNair began whisking her off to places like Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Key West while lavishing her with gifts and bought her an Escalade in May for her 20th birthday. He felt as though she wasn’t trying to use him like other women he had been with in the past.

Kazemi’s family say she and McNair were together all the time unless he was taking his kids on vacation. Her ex-boyfriend claims that McNair was making her believe they were going to be together, and everything would be perfect, she thought he would divorce his wife and they would move in together and one day get marry. Ironically, she bought a gun two days before they were found dead and on that same day she place an ad on Craigslist to sell all of her furniture. Her family claimed she was getting rid of her furniture because she was planning to move in with McNair, however McNair’s friends claims he had no intentions on leaving his wife. As a matter of fact, his brother claims he had never heard of her.

According to Fox 5, trouble may have started two weeks ago when Kazemi and McNair planned a trip to Las Vegas. Kazemi flew from Tennessee to Nevada to meet McNair, but he never arrived. “This story fuels speculation that McNair was beginning to pull away from the affair.” Two days before the deaths, Kazemi was arrested for DUI. McNair was with her but not charged, and later made her bail. Sometime during that week she had told an associate that her “personal life was all screwed up,”. She had mounting debts and had been unable to sell her car. Also, her roommate had decided to move which would have doubled her rent.

McNair and Kazemi met up late Friday night (July 3rd) at McNair’s condo after he had been hanging out with friends. The next afternoon his roommate walked in and saw McNair lying on the couch and Kazemi lying on the floor but had no idea that anything was wrong until he spotted blood. Officers found a gun under her body and there were no signs of forced entry.

McNair’s wife of 12 years and mother of 2 of his four kids claims that she didn’t know that he was having an affair with Sahel before they were found dead on the 4th of July. According to TMZ, they were in the process of selling their 2.9 million dollar home but their realtor claims they weren’t selling because of a split. They were looking to buy a home on the lake.

The sister of Sahel Kazemi told the paper she expected McNair to leave his wife in the next two or three weeks to marry her.

A gun purchased by Kazemi was found next to the bodies and police confirmed Wednesday that they believe she killed McNair before killing herself.

Think before you act people, I’ve done some crazy things in rage too, but come on - get a grip, its not worth it.

I used to really like Ly Lo, not for her movies, but I liked following her social life. Now, it seems she’s not really bad and out there (see first pic below) and she’s not playing up the good girl roll either. I’m confused, where does Lyndsay’s stardom lay now?

I guess media outlets are pulling at straws to get her back into that bad girl image, check out what the media is reporting basically as THEFT and let me know if you wouldn’t have done the same thing…

Lyndsay and g-friend Sam got home and realized they lost their keys…so they called USafe Locksmith.

As the locksmith did his thing, Lindsay found an open window and told the locksmith he could stop. The locksmith asked for his $39 fee, but Lindsay refused, offering $20 instead.

The locksmith says Sam then told him to move his car away from the property. He listened and then when he came back to get the $20, Lyndsay and Sam locked themselves in the house and didn’t pay him a penny.

Give me a break! If he would have taken the $20 on the spot he would have his money, instead he got greedy and got got! People want to take advantage because they know she has money. If he was at my place I would have left the $20 on the stoop and closed the doors, but whatev. - Get over it buddy.

Michael Jacksons family recently gave the LAPD a list of doctors they believe may have caused Mikey’s death due to mis-prescribed drugs. The man pictured above is Dr. Arnold Klein and he’s on the list.

He’s definitely pissed and voiced his opinion denying any involvement. He was previously suspected as being the real father to Michael’s kids, which I never believed, see that story here.

Can’t wait to find out who goes down with this sinking ship.

Although Debbie did not raise her daughter she broke into tears after hearing the gut wrenching speech given by Paris Jackson.

I don’t blame her I cried too and I’ve never even met them! It was a sad moment, I’ve actually heard some people saying it was faked?!?

Debbie declined to go to the funeral - her and Mike weren’t very close - she also said she did not want to take anything away from his day. Another person who didn’t want to “take” from MJ, John Mayer…

What a class act! On Larry King last night he let us know that before he accepted to do the show he had to find out if the Jackson family had made the request. Upon discovering that it was the family’s wishes for him to participate he took the spot. He admits that he was nervous for the first couple of days after accepting thinking “What have I gotten myself into?”

Jhon decided to play guitar instead of singing ‘Human Nature’ (one of my fav songs!) to honor Michael, he believes he would never be able to do the song justice with his own voice and also enjoyed the absence which was felt in the stadium - it really hit home that MJ is no longer with us. Jhon’s never met MJ, but says they are connected through music, his performance was one of my favs.
